Steve Kritzer
Multi-instrumentalist, educator, singer, songwriter.
Steve Kritzer, who’s musical talents also include guitar, mandolin, banjo, and songwritng, has developed a special passion for ukulele over the years, and has become one of the pre-eminent instructors, jam leaders, and “go to guy” for all things ukulele in the San Francisco Bay Area.
He’s performed, and taught ukulele to everyone from kids to seniors at festivals, jams, schools, and nursing homes, and particularly enjoys sharing the joy of jamming and making music with others on ukuleles. His monthly uke jams at a winery in Livermore draw a regular crowd of 50 or more.
A growing number of students have gone through his popular adult classes for the City of San Ramon. He’s also a regular instructor at numerous music camps and fesvals including California Coast Music Camp, and is a board member for Ukes For Schools in Roseville.
