John Sandoval

Multi-instrumentalist, educator.

John has been an active member of the Sacramento ukulele community since 2009. He founded the “Ukulele Strum-Along Saturdays” in Folsom, CA which later evolved into the Valley Ukulele Society. He proudly serves as a board member of Ukes For Schools, helping to promote music education and awareness in local schools.

John spends most of his free time playing guitar and ukulele or listening to all genres of music. His love of the ukulele is clearly evident when he is teaching his group classes or his one-on-one lessons.

John is a retired engineer and has worked in the retail music industry. He currently teaches ukulele at the Nicholson Music Co. He calls Placerville, CA home where he lives happily with his lovely wife Lisa and his two cats, Rikki and Lucy.
